Odd Socks

Darren Huckerby's sock drawer contains ten pairs of green socks and ten pairs of yellow socks. If he is only allowed to take one sock from the drawer at a time and he can't see what color sock he's taking until he's taken it, how many socks does he have to take before he is guaranteed to have at least one matching pair?
